On the weekend we were fortunate to host His Holiness Devamrta Swami, who facilitated a retreat for the Indian youth of the Melbourne Hare Krishna Temple. His Holiness spoke on the necessity of cultivating spiritual life in this fast paced world, and on maintaining a balance between one’s material and spiritual needs.
Although it rained on and off through the whole weekend, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the participants, who still managed to have a trip to Erskine falls and play a game of soccer or two.
