This week at Hare Krishna Valley we worked on increasing the functionality of our conference room by removing two of the partition walls. Soon we will be moving the Dieties from Their present location to the larger double room, which will then be used as a Temple room and seminar facility. Our good friend, Bhakta Ryan from Melbourne came down to spend a couple of nights, and helped us remove the walls. Manigriva Prabhu will now fix the plaster in the room in preparation for the new paint job.
As it was Easter, we were fully booked out in our accommodation facilities. We have recently placed an ad in the South Asia Times, and it resulted in us receiving around 15 phone calls enquiring about accommodation. As we only have 2 ashrams fully renovated at this point in time, we were unable to take as many bookings as we would have liked.
This week, we were able to bring 8 crate loads of pumpkins to the temple, along with our usual 16 crates of Zucchinis. We also brought 3 crates of tomatoes, and a few Lebanese eggplants.
We will keep you updated with our progress next week.
Until then, I remain in the service of Srila Prabhupada,
Kesava dasa.
